Prior to becoming an Investment Advisor, Travis gained a diverse array of experience in marketing and finance. Most recently, he owned and managed a business in Kamloops, B.C., for 11 years, which gave him a thorough understanding of the unique money management challenges faced by business owners in the area.
Today, Travis combines his expertise with the services and solutions of RBC to help you effectively build and protect your wealth. His breadth of experience and credentials helps ensure sound advice, expert execution and peace of mind for clients who need solutions for broad and complex wealth management needs.
Travis holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia and an MBA with a major in International Business from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary. Travis has also earned the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation.
Outside of the office, he enjoys a variety of outdoor activities in the Kamloops area, such as cross-country skiing and mountain biking. Having previously owned a motorsports company, he maintains an avid interest in motor vehicles and is also an avid traveller and music enthusiast. Above all, Travis most looks forward to spending time with his wife and two children.

Backed by eight years of experience in the financial services industry, Nelson is committed to setting up clients for success and helping them reach their financial goals. He first joined RBC Royal Bank as a Client Advisor before becoming a Banking Advisor. In his current role, Nelson oversees our team’s administration and client service. Colleagues and clients alike appreciate his quick response to enquiries, knowledgeable advice, genuine level of care and personal touch.
A big believer in professional development, Nelson has completed the Investment Funds in Canada course and is working on the Canadian Securities Course. Away from work, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Teresa, and their two children, now young adults. He also enjoys camping, gardening and playing and watching baseball and football.
